About the Project
Kitty Sliding is a casual puzzle game, with a challenge of increasing difficulties of large amount of levels. Hand-crafting hundreds of levels is slow and prone to human error, so I developed a custom Unity Editor tool to automate the testing process.
My Contributions
- - Algorithm Implementation: Integrated Dijkstra’s Algorithm to mathematically calculate a level's difficulty from the start point.
- - Pipeline Efficiency: The tool reduced level testing time by ~60%, allowing designers to focus on creativity rather than bug-fixing.
- - Difficulty Metrics: Calculated the minimum moves required to win, letting us sort levels by difficulty curve.
